This week didn’t go as planned… I skipped my short runs again and did Kettlebell on
Tuesday and Thursday, but I didn’t bike to work at all this week. It just
didn’t fit in my schedule. I was
planning on a rest day for Saturday, but went to kettlebell instead since I
hadn’t done any biking or running. I’m glad I did because I ended up being sick
on Sunday and still didn’t get my long run in.
I’m not too worried yet, because it is still early in my training and I
have been doing kettlebell, but I can’t go run a half marathon without doing
any running at all. I need to start working in more running, before I do start
to panic about my training, though! And honestly, I was looking forward to my
long run this week and was pretty bummed that I felt too bad to run.
On a positive note, when I weighed myself on Friday, I was
finally down 2 lbs.
