 2/25-3/3
No run club this week. No 1/2 training runs this week. No Kettlebell most of this week. No weight loss this week.

We got some snow which put run club inside and kept me off the street for my first 2 mile run of the training program. Fortunately, I built 2 extra weeks into my training schedule for just that reason. The weather should start improving and I'm still technically on track for my race. I did go for a one mile run today though, and got my best time yet. 12:21. Pretty awesome, especially considering my mile time, in March of 2012 was about 16 minutes!



I went to kettlebell on Monday, and had a killer awesome workout. We got to deadlift the barbells (my 2nd time ever) and I lifted 155lbs, in two sets of 5 each. My lower back was pretty tight/sore on Tuesday so I didn't go since Tuesdays are heavy weight days, and the rest of my week was booked. I had hoped to go Saturday morning, but class was canceled due to moving to a new location.

I'm not sure what happened with my weight this week. I didn't change anything (except the amount of exercise I got), and the scale didn't budge. Hmmm. Hope it's related to the lack of exercise or newly built muscle and that it will start moving again.
