My first full week at my new job with new hours is behind me. Good thing, too. I only got one training run in this week - a 4 minute run on Monday. Not too good, since I have a race coming up in a week... that's totally going to suck. I shouldn't be making excuses, but transitioning to my new work schedule hasn't been as smooth or easy as I was expecting. I don't have to be up at 4 am any more, so I've really taken advantage of sleeping in until 7am, but that means I'm not really benefiting by getting extra hours back since I don't get home until after 5 now. I'm sure it will get better. The good news is that I feel so much more human, now that I'm getting a full night of sleep every day. I guess I didn't realize how horrible my 6 hour nights, and 4am wake up times were making me feel.
