I've achieved my first goal of finishing a 5k (running the whole thing without walking). For my next two goals, I'm working on them simultaneously. They are to finish a 10k and to run a 30 minute 5k - no order of preference there. To accomplish these goals, I set up a new run schedule to follow, because I run more when I'm following a schedule. The schedule is set up so that I do timed runs every other day, running with my husband who runs sub-30 5k's to increase my speed, and then to also run every other day, on the opposite days to work on increasing my endurance and distance to work up to a 10k. Here is the run schedule I developed to reach my goals:
