I expected to be sore after my race, last Sunday, but I really wasn't. Monday and Tuesday, I did feel like I put in a lot of miles, but I didn't hurt. That made me happy. I still took the week off from running, though, to give myself plenty of recovery time. I probably don't need it, physically, but I needed it mentally.
