My first 5k of the year :) It went better than I expected, considering my lack of training over the last several months. It felt good to get out there and do a race, though. We had a big group again – Mom, Joe, Kimberly (and Vanessa), Kelsey, Dillon, Jerry, Caleb, and Lily all ran the race with me. Lily’s had a cold so she didn’t push herself very hard, but she did still run with my mom and beat me. I took it easy since I was worried about more ankle cramping which I did have a little of but was able to push through. I also got to run with Kelsey since this was her first official 5k, so that was cool too.
