8/5-8/11
I went to kettlebell twice this week; once on Tuesday and
once on Thursday. I spent Saturday running errands and working on a project at
home that had me burning quite a few calories according to body media. For
Sunday, I had my 8 mile run planned out and I was going to hit the pavement
after lunch. Dinner was in the crockpot and my running shoes were at the foot
of my bed before we even left for church, so I was set. No excuses. Then life
happened. Again. I swear, I’m starting
to wonder if I’m even supposed to be running, right now.
Caleb was going to the Rockies baseball game with the other
5th/6th graders from church and about 2 weeks ago I had offered
to help and drive my van since I could take another adult and 11 kids with me.
They said they would let me know if it was needed since their registration was
currently low enough for the one van the church owned. They never got back to
me and said they needed help but when we got to church, they were assuming I
was going/driving. Good thing my husband had the forethought to drive separate,
just in case. He took Lily home after church, and I headed to Denver with a van
full of kids. I didn’t get back in town until 8:30pm. Then we had plans to drop
off my car at the mechanic, so I wasn’t home until 9 and I was worn out so I
was not going running for two hours. I guess the only good thing is since my
car is at the mechanic, I have to bike to work tomorrow.
