2012 Recap

12/31/2012
2012 was a pretty good year for my journey to a fitter, healthier lifestyle. I had some ups and downs, medically as well as motivationally. I made some big changes in my life including a job change which allows me a decent night’s sleep, I joined kettlebell for a new exercise plan, and I implemented and maintained a 1500 calorie/low glycemic diet plan. I ran 14 races, and 139 miles in training.  I didn’t see any significant drop in weight, but I am down 16 lbs since this time last year. Any little bit helps.

For 2013, I have a few goals to work towards as I continue my journey. This is the year I’m going to see that significant drop in weight. I just feel it…

GOALS:   Eat more Fruits & veggies; Run 300+ miles; Bike to work over the summer 3-5 times per week; More frequent workouts (5-6 per week, any variety);  Run a ½ Marathon; Achieve a 12 Minute Mile Pace average; PR my 5k and 10k times; Learn how to “Carbo-Load”
